[{"content":"Other than reports and papers, I haven\u0026rsquo;t written much in a long time. Although I had a blog before migrating to Hugo, there\u0026rsquo;s been absolutely nothing on it. It seems I enjoy the deployment process far more than actually writing content. Hopefully, this time, I can at least start sharing some of my thoughts.\nThe main reason behind this migration is me trying to be more minimalism. In the past my blog has all the fancy features such as music player that I never used. While I’ve considered myself a minimalist for quite some time, I never really reflected on what minimalism means to me—or, more importantly, what I actually need: a simple space to capture my thoughts. Hugo and PaperMod seem like the perfect fit. They’re lightweight, static, and actively maintained. Hugo has native multilingual support, and best of all, it can be deployed without a backend. All I have to do is write and push.\nThat said, I know myself too well. There\u0026rsquo;s a good chance I\u0026rsquo;ll end up using the excuse that life is too busy after this first post. The actual problem behind this excuse is that I am a perfectionist, and I always want to plan out everything perfectly. Whenever I can\u0026rsquo;t, I just push it back as far as possible, until it never happens. This pattern repeated itself for years—until I took a Software Engineering class last year, a class I never expected to be so impactful.\n\u0026ldquo;To make something perfect, you always have to start ugly.\u0026rdquo;\nThat single lesson changed my perspective. The world is constantly shifting, and no plan will ever be flawless from the start. The only way is to polish that ugly draft again and again, making small steps to that perfection in your heart. It takes time. It takes practice.\nSo here I am, writing this post, trying to start ugly.\nIs this a good post? Does it make sense? I don\u0026rsquo;t know.
